  • $26•$28/hr Shift•Day 5x8-Hour (07:30•16:00) Responsibilities of Patient Care Tech Coordinate patient care and access to healthcare services.
Arrange diagnostic procedures and schedule services with hospital departments. Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations as needed. Utilize knowledge of hospital policies, third-party payers, and reimbursement procedures to support care coordination. Requirements for Patient Care Tech Bachelor's degree in a medically related or public relations field. Two years of experience in a tertiary healthcare setting working with patients, families, physicians, and multiple medical services. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted. Strong customer service experience in a healthcare environment. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
