12 hour shifts rotating weekends Position Summary The Patient Care Technician is an ideal opportunity for those seeking a dynamic and comprehensive role within our health care system. By covering nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions, you will support exceptional patient health outcomes. In this role you will hone your clerical and communication skills, develop age-appropriate nursing care expertise, and collaborate to support patient care and services. Responsibilities You will perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital You will assist in basic nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions Apply your strong interpersonal skills when providing care for patients across a diverse spectrum of ethnic and social groups Collaborate with health care practitioner or registered nurse for comprehensive quality care Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven (7) days of hire) Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R Current BLS Certification Recent bed side care experience in a health care environment Why Choose Pulse? As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.61
