Surgical Technologist- WMH•1.
FTE Schedule:
PM shift hours- 1300
- 2130 (extended shifts
- 10's or 12's will be considered)Overnight call shifts: 1-2 per weekWeekend on call rotation: 1 every 6-7 weeksHoliday on call: 1-2 per year In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, to Plastics surgery.

1.00What You Will Do:
Surgical Technologist functions as the scrub person. Works under the direct supervision of an RN or physician to facilitate safe and effective care during invasive and operative procedures. They ensure that the OR is safe, equipment is functioning properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Facilitates a physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.What You Will Need:
Education:
Associate's Degree. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (CST) preferred or equivalent military training.Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital operating room setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire AST membership preferredAbout Us:
