Job Description

Position Overview The Lead Clinician plays a central role in supporting mental wellness and improving quality of life for individuals and families across the Ketchikan region. This position provides both direct clinical services and program-level leadership within a growing behavioral health program. The ideal candidate is committed to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and is energized by the opportunity to help build systems that promote long-term healing and community well-being. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions Deliver services grounded in empowerment, mutual respect, and cultural humility Coordinate clinical and programmatic functions to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery Oversee documentation practices and ensure compliance with organizational, state, and federal requirements Support program development, workflow design, and implementation of new services Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and external agencies to support integrated care Participate in outcome evaluation, quality improvement, and data-driven decision-making Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and mentorship to staff as needed Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field Independent licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred Experience providing clinical services in community behavioral health settings Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and culturally competent care Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with administrative and program coordination tasks Adaptability, collaboration, and comfort working in a developing or evolving program environment Compensation $110k per year plus housing and car Program Context This role is part of a rapidly expanding behavioral health initiative. As with any start-up or early-stage program, responsibilities may evolve as services grow and community needs shift. The Lead Clinician will play a key role in shaping the program's direction and establishing sustainable systems of care that reflect the strengths, values, and priorities of the Ketchikan community.

$110,000.00 per year
