Job Description

Tria Vision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care from their first interaction with our clinic. You will be responsible for a variety of front office duties aimed at providing a positive experience for our patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility with a friendly demeanor, offering support and guidance to patients navigating insurance-related concerns. Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from their first interaction. Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out processes, demonstrating attentiveness to the patients' needs and providing assistance as required. Schedule appointments with a personalized approach, accommodating patient preferences and ensuring clear communication regarding appointment details. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, ensuring that all common areas and workspaces are tidy and welcoming for patients and staff alike. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
