Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our United Spine & Pain Team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Your energetic approach will help foster a welcoming environment, while your attention to detail and knowledge of medical administrative processes will support efficient clinic operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by coordinating care and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with appointment scheduling using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Coordinate patient referrals, follow-up appointments, and test scheduling to optimize care continuity Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, medical history, and treatment plans in EMR/EHR systems Verify insurance coverage & explain health insurance policies to patients Support medical staff by handling administrative tasks such as preparing patient charts, updating records, and managing correspondence Ensure adherence to health regulation policies and confidentiality standards in all patient interactions Experience Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of health regulation policies and compliance standards is essential for maintaining legal and ethical practices Experience with medical administrative support tasks such as appointment scheduling, billing, and insurance processing is desirable Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently is required About United Spine & Pain United Spine & Pain is an Interventional Pain Management Practice specializing in minimally invasive procedures, advanced treatment options, and comprehensive pain management solutions.
