POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed Therapist is responsible for the management and effective service of the clinical department.

Essential Function Statement:
1. Supervises all staff of clinical department. 2. Develops and monitors activities and functions within the clinical department. 3. Consults with and advises the Executive Director on problems relating to the therapuetic milieu 4. Assists in the administration and coordination of program activities. 5. Reviews program activities and makes recommendations for changes in better utilization of buildings, services, staff, etc. Interprets program policies, objectives and operational procedures to department heads and other staff as designated by the Executive Director. 6. Assumes responsibility for student records meeting all applicable standards for Medicaid and DYS. 9. Acts as leader of multi-disciplinary team, foster team cohesion to enable active and viable team functioning. 10. Oversees Medicaid systems to ensure that standards are followed. 11. Participates in and attends staff conferences, committees, etc. to evaluate and plan program services. 12. Reviews management of cases, assignments, case problems, issues, and methods of service. 13. Responsible for developing monthly schedules and serving in the "Administrator On Call" rotation. 14. Oversees the child abuse/neglect, investigation of student complaints, and the students' grievance process. 15. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: interviewing, hiring, compensation and training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field Licensed or certified therapist with experience in behavioral therapy and mental health counseling Proficient in applied behavior analysis and patient assessment Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation Experience with crisis intervention and motivational interviewing Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy and group therapy techniques Ability to work with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
