Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Practice Administrator to provide strategic and operational leadership for the day-to-day management of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinic network. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare operations leader who can effectively balance clinic performance, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and employee engagement. This position is responsible for maximizing efficient clinic operations, regulatory compliance, financial performance, quality improvement & patient satisfaction. The Practice Administrator works collaboratively with executive leadership, medical providers, and department managers to support the organization's mission of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare services to underserved populations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- B.A. or M.A degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred but not required. (Applicable Experience in lieu of degree).
- 2+ years' experience working in a Medical Practice as a Practice Administrator preferred.
- Experience managing multiple clinic locations preferred.
- Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) preferred. Physical/Environmental
- Occasional lifting of 40 - 50lbs and pushing of 5-20lbs
- Sitting, standing and walking approximately 80% of the time
- A medium to high level of manual dexterity required
- Bending and reaching approximately 20% of the time
- Normal accessibility and mobility throughout the region required
- Normal overtime/extended work hours

Job classification includes ALL employees who have occupational exposure
- to blood borne pathogens
- (blood or body fluids) while performing their job duties.
Category II:
Job classification includes employees who are likely to have SOME occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens because Category I tasks may occasionally be required.
Category III:
Job Classification includes those employees who perform jobs and tasks where
NO CONTACT
with blood borne pathogens occurs and Category I and Category II tasks ARE NOT a condition of employment.
