Patient Coordinator/Receptionist and CVT with open availability 1.6 1.6 out of 5 stars 14300 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, AR 72223 $17.00 - $24.75 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Out West Veterinary Urgent Care 5 reviews $17.00 - $24.75 an hour - Part-time, Full-time About us Out West Veterinary Urgent Care is an extended hour Urgent Care hospital who is currently needing a Patient Coordinator, and a CVT with a current Arkansas license. Open availability is typically needed. Patient Coordinators are the first person a client sees, and sets the tone for the entire visit. Time management and stress management skills are essential for this position.
  • Must be able to answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller's needs yourself
  • Must be able to triage cases over the phone and in-person.
  • Must be able to handle walk-in patients
  • Must be able to greet clients and patients appropriately upon arrival, sign them in, obtain necessary medical information, update client and patient information, and obtain any other essential data
  • Must be able to invoice clients and process payments from clients. Must be able to learn how to refer clients to 3rd party financial programs.
  • Must be able to prepare and maintain hard copy patient records as well as electronic medical records. Responsible for checking records to ensure that all staff has signed their entries in the paper charts. Must be able to handle client complaints with concern and diplomacy. Patient Coordinators need to be patient, and empathetic at all times.
  • Must be able to accurately communicate basic medical/surgical information to clients.
  • Must be able to provide patient discharge planning and coordinate aftercare in a timely and professional manner.
This will include transferring of patient records to and from other hospitals, and giving medical updates. Pay:
$17.00 - $24.75 per hour
