Job Description

Medical Receptionist:
Ozark Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking to fill an opening in our front office. This position is a full time position. Previous experience working in a medical office is required to apply for this position. The job involves assisting with office operations and ensuring data is accurately entered and appropriate billing information is provided and entered into EMR as well as scheduling patients for appointments and interacting with patients on a daily basis. We offer a close knit team in our clinic with a family atmosphere in which we all work together to provide excellent care to our patients and have a solutions oriented approach to any issues that may arise. Position and Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with and complete office procedures and operations to ensure patient satisfaction and ensure optimized and efficient scheduling with therapists. Collaborate with other team members, assisting in scheduling, collecting payments, verifying and obtaining insurance authorization and other daily office tasks.
  • Effectively and accurately as well as compassionately communicate with patients regarding any issues related to their therapy which includes their schedule, insurance coverage, or fees for service.
  • Assist with verifying and obtaining authorization for coverage of therapy services to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances as needed.
  • Work with patients to develop self-pay arrangements and payment plans as needed.
  • Assist with other office needs as they arise
Salary:
Negotiable pending years of relevant experience.

General Experience as
Medical Receptionist:
1 to 2 Years (Required)
Insurance Verification Experience:
1-2 Years (Required)
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required) Must be able to speak, write and understand English very well Clerical Education or Billing / Coding Certification is a plus
