  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations efficiently. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate appointment scheduling, and seamless administrative support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a caring environment where patient experience is prioritized and operational excellence is celebrated. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient flow at check-in/check-out Verify and check insurance benefits and eligibility prior to visits Schedule appointments accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems Confirm appointments by phone, email, and text. Collect and process payments, including medical billing and collections, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly. Enter and update patient demographics and chart information in practice management software. Maintain organized medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Support clinic operations by coordinating care plans, scheduling follow-ups, and managing front desk administrative tasks such as filing and data entry. Proven experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting, preferably as a medical receptionist or front desk coordinator. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive patient information professionally under HIPAA guidelines. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with courteous phone etiquette and clerical support capabilities.
