Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Supervisor with a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential to lead our mental health and behavioral health teams. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across diverse settings. Responsibilities Supervise clinical staff, including social workers, counselors, and behavioral health specialists, providing mentorship and ongoing training to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with licensing standards. Oversee patient assessments, intake processes, and treatment planning to ensure comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. Lead clinical case reviews, ensuring documentation accuracy within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Coordinate crisis intervention efforts for individuals experiencing acute mental health episodes or behavioral crises, including managing emergency response protocols. Facilitate individual therapy sessions, group therapy programs, and specialized interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, or applied behavior analysis (ABA). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated care plans for clients with complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's disease, PTSD, or addiction issues. Promote a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement, data collection for quality assurance, and effective case management strategies. Qualifications Valid LCSW license in good standing with comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health practices. Proven supervisory experience managing clinical teams within mental health or social work settings. Strong background in behavioral therapy techniques including CBT, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis management. Experience working with children and families in home or community care environments; hospital experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's care needs, PTSD, or addiction counseling. Proficiency in medical documentation, patient assessment tools, diagnostic evaluation methods, and EMR systems. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and security of medical records and patient data.
