Medical Scheduler/Admissions/Benefits Verification Description:
Mid-Cities Medical, a Veteran-Owned home medical equipment provider (ventilators, oxygen concentrators, DME supplies), is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator in Tucson, AZ. Great fit for candidates with Medical Scheduler, Admissions Clerk, Benefits Verification Specialist, or Patient Registrar experience. Pay & Schedule M-F, 8am-5pm, on-site Occasional weekend emergency coverage What You'll Do Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls with patients, families, and providers Process up to 100 patient orders per day Verify insurance/benefits and coordinate with VA and hospitals Maintain patient records and EMR documentation Schedule and coordinate equipment delivery/service Troubleshoot equipment; educate patients/caregivers on use Run daily reports; cross-train across departments Requirements 2+ years in medical office, call center, DME, admissions, or hospital setting Experience with Brightree, Apachetta, or similar Windows-based EMR High call volume + data entry experience (10-key, 35+ WPM) MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) High school diploma or higher Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits 401(k) with 2% match 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD Paid holidays, vacation, sick time Performance-based bonus Veterans, military retirees, and military family members encouraged to apply.
