Compensation $17.50-$24.50 per hour, based on experience Outstanding Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 75%-100% employer-paid coverage (depending on plan selected) 401(k) with employer match Company-paid life and disability insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Generous paid time off and holidays, starting at 168 hours annually, with additional accrual based on tenure A supportive culture focused on teamwork, development, and career advancement What You'll Do As a key member of our clinical team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient experiences and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the practice. You'll make an impact by: Providing hands-on patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, performing urine testing, assisting with anemia and iron management, and supporting patient education Coordinating clinical procedures and diagnostic testing, including specimen collection, blood pressure monitoring, scheduling, and follow-up care Maintaining accurate clinical documentation within the EMR and communicating important patient updates to providers Managing patient scheduling, recalls, referrals, and care coordination to help patients stay on track with treatment plans Supporting clinic operations through medical records management, inventory control, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with team members across multiple locations What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who has: Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program 1-2 years of front/back clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting Experience with EMR systems and common clinical and office equipment Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively A patient-first mindset and a commitment to providing compassionate care Join a Team That Matters Every day at AKDHC, you'll have the opportunity to help patients navigate complex health challenges while working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about making a difference.
