In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from insurance verification to preparing charts for the clinic. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help facilitate effective communication between patients and medical staff, contributing to high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. Duties Greet patients warmly and verify their appointment details while ensuring all necessary documentation is complete Maintain accurate patient records by updating medical files with relevant information and notes Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to facilitate seamless care delivery Assist with billing inquiries, payment processing, and insurance verifications to support administrative workflows Ensure the clinic environment remains welcoming, organized, and compliant with health privacy regulations Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment Strong knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures within healthcare settings Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office atmosphere Familiarity with medical office software and electronic health records systems being familiar with eCW is a plus! Prior experience in surgery center or similar healthcare office is highly desirable Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external partners Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
