POSITION SUMMARY

This non-clinical position is responsible for monitoring the physician?s office schedules and for placing patients in exam rooms in a timely, efficient, and organized manner. Coordinates with other departments for any necessary testing or follow-up appointments that the physician requires during or after the patient is seen.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Stocks patient exam rooms and provider workspace with necessary supplies. Checks the schedule for each following day to prep provider workspace as necessary. Responsible for checking the physician?s folders and distributing items. Maintains and stocks the back-office area and samples closets. Ensures all exam rooms are prepped and cleaned for each patient. Responsible for plugging in and powering off laptops at the end of each clinic day. Ensures provider areas operate and run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Coordinates with CCI Coordinator to keep patient flow organized and efficient. Assists other back-office departments with patients and other non-clinical tasks Updates Reps phone numbers and ensures they are accurate. Maintains clean and clutter-free work area. Other duties as assigned per the need of the organization and within scope of position.
