No calls or text messages, please. ! Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Clinic Manager / Medical Office Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy healthcare facility. This pivotal role combines leadership, administrative expertise, and clinical knowledge to ensure smooth clinic functioning, exceptional patient care, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong management skills, and possess a comprehensive understanding of medical office systems and practices. Join our team to make a meaningful impact on patient experiences while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment The ideal candidate has strong medical office management experience, preferably in a podiatry, orthopedic, surgical, or specialty medical practice . Duties Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including staff management, patient flow, and administrative workflows Supervise medical administrative support staff, nurses, and other clinical personnel to ensure high-quality service delivery Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and expense control using systems Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, JCAHO standards, and other healthcare policies related to medical records, confidentiality, and safety protocols Coordinate with healthcare providers on medical management tasks including EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) system utilization Implement and monitor quality assurance programs related to acute care, hospital experience standards Facilitate human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development in accordance with healthcare management best practices Oversee clinic scheduling, patient registration processes, insurance verification (including managed care), and utilization management procedures Maintain accurate medical records while ensuring adherence to HIPAA privacy standards and proper documentation procedures Lead efforts to optimize practice management through process improvements and technology integration Qualifications Prior experience as a Clinic Manager, Medical Office Manager, Lead Medical Assistant, or similar role required. Experience in a podiatry clinic is strongly preferred. Proven experience managing a medical office with strong familiarity in office management systems Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing clinical and administrative staff in healthcare settings such as hospitals or clinics Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations including JCAHO standards Proficiency in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, billing cycles, and revenue cycle management Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare software applications such as Epic or eClinicalWorks Strong understanding of medical administrative support functions including insurance processing and managed care coordination Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment Background in nursing or acute care settings is highly desirable; veterinary or dental clinic experience is a plus Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, staff members, vendors, and healthcare providers Join us to lead a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while advancing your career in medical office management!
