Job Description:
The candidate must meet the minimum qualifications for an Independently Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) or obtain independent licensure within six months of hire. They will supervise direct care staff in the Youth Behavioral Health Services Department, particularly within the Integrated School-Based Services team, and provide support to other direct care staff as needed. As the supervisor of school-based services, this role will promote teamwork within the agency, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and inspire staff to achieve departmental goals efficiently. They will offer clinical guidance on dual diagnoses that affect youth, behavioral health challenges, and trauma-related issues encountered in office-based and school settings. The candidate must have a strong background and/or significant experience in family systems, play-based therapies, and trauma-informed practices. They should also possess knowledge of school systems and understand how mental health services can effectively partner with schools to deliver high-quality therapeutic services. This role requires the supervisor to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with school administrators and staff to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships. Key responsibilities include clinical oversight of school-based mental health therapists, school-based care coordinators, and attending meetings with partner schools to provide clinical guidance. Administrative/Clinical duties will include monitoring therapy visit numbers, providing administrative/clinical trainings to their assigned staff, manage caseloads to ensure streamlined assignments, and other tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director of Integrated School-Based Services.
Job Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Master's degree in a counseling related field is required (professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work) Must hold an active independent level behavioral health license through AZBBHE or obtain within 6 months of hire date. Must have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide the behavioral health services that the agency is authorized to provide and to meet the unique needs of consumer populations served by the agency, including children and meet requirements for a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP). Must be credentialed as a BHP within 90 days of hire. Must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of human behavior and counseling theories. Must have sufficient knowledge of the substance abusing population, treatment planning and the field of human social services to work towards the rehabilitation of the client community. Knowledge in

diagnosing. Maintain an awareness of substance abuse symptoms, signs, and best practice treatment. Ability to develop routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to execute conflict resolution. Experience working with families of diverse socio-economic status. Strong verbal, written, and communications skills Knowledge of Windows environment and/or Electronic Health Records Systems. Ability to provide culturally and trauma sensitive services Must have or able to obtain valid Fingerprint Clearance Card. Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
