Front Office Coordinator Scottsdale Rheumatology Center - 5.0 Scottsdale, AZ Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Spanish Customer communication Interpersonal skills English Medical scheduling Patient care Full Job Description About Us Scottsdale Rheumatology Center is a dedicated rheumatology clinic providing specialized care to our patients. We are looking for a motivated and dependable Front Desk Officer to join our growing team and support our clinical and administrative operations. Position Summary The Front Desk Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of our clinic. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure smooth patient flow and a high standard of care — performing the full range of medical assistant duties with the exception of injections and infusions. Key Responsibilities Greet and room patients in a professional and welcoming manner Take and accurately document patient vitals Collect copays and assist with basic billing processes Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Enter and maintain patient records in the EMR system (Tebra) Complete demographic forms, PHQ-9 forms, and consent documentation Process and manage lab order forms Perform document scanning and organized digital filing Maintain and update medication lists and allergy records Assist with patient communication and follow-up tasks Support the clinical team with general office and workflow needs Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred Familiarity with EMR systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a busy clinic environment Professional demeanor and a patient-centered attitude Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
