Seeking a seasoned Pre Licensed Therapist who can become licensed or a Licensed Therapist. Opportunity Knocks Opportunity Knocks is a volunteer mental health program providing outpatient services for individuals ages 18+, with severe and persistent mental illness, recent history of incarceration due to mental illness, and are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our services include intensive case management, psychotherapy, skill-development groups, medication management, vocational linkage, temporary housing support, benefits processing, and outreach and engagement. Assist in the supervision of Pre-licensed Therapists, Specialists and Personal Service Coordinators. Train all new staff with program protocols, review of overall documentation. Create and facilitate training on Evidence Based Practices (EBP). Identify problems and offer constructive suggestions for corrective action to all staff. Act as lead in handling crisis situations. Carry out duties as a member of the team, under the direction of the Program Director. Participate as a member of the treatment team (carry small case load). Facilitate daily team meetings. Transport clients to accommodate various needs. Use of personal car or vehicle is required Meet with members individually to assist with addressing member's identified issues. Complete all required documentation as appropriate to document services. Performs mentoring, offering encouragement and assistance in problem solving and life skills. Maintain and ensures HIPAA, ethical standards and professional boundaries with all staff and clients. Provide practical help and mentoring, advocacy, coordination, side-by-side individualized support, problem solving and direct assistance to help clients obtain the necessities of daily living. Maintain a minimum productivity requirement as designated by program director. Other duties as assigned or necessary to support your department/program, office and/or the company Education/Licensing Requirements Education and/or Experience Master's degree from accredited school in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Prior behavioral health experience required. Must be registered and/or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Proof of and maintain valid California driver's license and auto insurance, as well as proof of education are required.
Salary:
$ $80,000 to $85,280 Annually plus benefits DailyPay
