In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for new patients, guiding them through the registration process and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience. Your expertise will help facilitate efficient appointment scheduling, verify insurance coverage, and manage medical records with precision. Duties Greet new patients warmly and assist them with completing registration paperwork accurately and efficiently Collect and update medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Schedule initial appointments, coordinate follow-up visits, and communicate appointment details clearly to patients Maintain organized medical records and ensure all documentation aligns with office policies and legal standards Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate seamless patient flow and address any scheduling or administrative issues promptly Follow up with new patient leads and unscheduled treatments Skills Strong understanding of managed care plans, insurance verification processes, and medical billing procedures Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting with familiarity in medical terminology and office operations Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, insurance providers, and healthcare team members Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining attention to detail in documentation Experience with medical records management and familiarity with insurance verification procedures Looking to hire a motivated, hardworking front office admin who enjoys helping others and being part of a supportive team!
