We're looking for a dependable, organized team member who enjoys working with patients and collaborating with others. This role will split time between our two offices, located in Berkeley and Walnut Creek.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain patient charts and documentation Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations Answer calls, respond to messages, and manage incoming faxes Schedule procedures and coordinate with surgical centers Review and communicate patient results using Epic EHR Collect co-pays and assist with account balances Provide occasional front desk or call center support Assist with additional tasks as needed Occasional overtime may be required

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience Experience with Epic EHR required (GI experience a plus) Familiarity with PPO, HMO, and Medicare insurance plans Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology Ability to travel between Berkeley and Walnut Creek offices

Compensation & Benefits:
