Full-Time/Part Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Home Health Administrative Coordinator to join our growing home health team. The ideal candidate must have prior home health experience and be knowledgeable in daily agency operations, patient intake, staff scheduling, coordination of care, and office administration. This position requires excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills. Responsibilities Manage patient intake and admission processes. Answer and direct incoming phone calls from patients, physicians, referral sources, and staff. Coordinate and schedule skilled nursing, therapy, and home health aide visits. Maintain clinician schedules and assist with staffing coordination. Process referrals and obtain necessary documentation from physicians and facilities. Verify insurance information and assist with authorization tracking. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with agency policies. Coordinate communication between patients, caregivers, clinicians, and referral sources. Assist with office operations, filing, data entry, and administrative support. Monitor and follow up on outstanding orders, physician signatures, and documentation. Support management with daily operational tasks and special projects. Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of Home Health Administrative experience required. Strong understanding of home health operations, patient intake, scheduling, and coordination of care. Experience working with EMR systems preferred (DSL). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude. Preferred Skills Home health intake and referral management. Staff scheduling and coordination. Insurance verification and authorization knowledge. Understanding of Medicare and home health regulations. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience. Paid time off and holidays.
