Carlsbad, CA Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications Nutrition Exercise Science Customer communication Physical Therapy Kinesiology Attention to detail Full Job Description Patient Care Coordinator & Rehabilitation Assistant (Part-Time) Carlsbad, CA Brain Health D.C. is a growing functional neurology, brain health, and rehabilitation practice dedicated to helping patients with complex neurological, cognitive, vestibular, and chronic health conditions. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, health-minded individual to join our team. This is not a traditional front desk position. The ideal candidate has an interest in health, wellness, fitness, rehabilitation, neuroscience, or patient care and enjoys working directly with people. This position is ideal for recent graduates or students pursuing careers in health and wellness coaching, kinesiology, exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, chiropractic, neuroscience, psychology, nutrition, or other healthcare professions. Position Details Part-Time 24-30 hours per week Approximately 7 ½ hours per day Monday-Thursday only Located in Carlsbad, California Responsibilities Greet and support patients throughout their care experience Answer phones, emails, and text communications Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars Assist with patient intake and office operations Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises and therapies (training provided) Support wellness, lifestyle, and accountability recommendations Assist with therapies such as neurorehabilitation Maintain organization of treatment areas and clinical systems Help create a welcoming, supportive, and positive environment for patients and families Preferred Background We are especially interested in candidates with experience or education in: Health Coaching Wellness Coaching Personal Training Fitness Instruction Kinesiology Exercise Science Physical Therapy Assistant programs Occupational Therapy programs Nursing Chiropractic Psychology or Neuroscience Nutrition or Functional Medicine Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, positive, and service-oriented Highly organized and detail-oriented Dependable and professional Comfortable learning new technology and systems Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Passion for health, wellness, and helping others improve their quality of life What We're Looking For More than experience, we value character.
