The Triage Medical Assistant will work alongside our Medical Assistants, Physicians and Advanced Practitioners to assist our patients and ensure their care needs are being met. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal skills Ability to handle a high volume of incoming phone calls Attention to detail Customer service skills Team player attitude Willingness to learn Job duties include but are not limited to: Refilling medications for patients Managing medications in office Reporting adverse reactions to providers Triage incoming calls from patients and pharmacies Respond to patient incoming mychart messages Complete prior authorizations for medications as needed Preferred experience: 1-2 years prior medical assistant experience (preferred)
