Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Job Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations and State and federal requirements. Management, supervision, and problem-solving skills; Able to work independently; excellent verbal and written communication; Judgment ability. Following up and prioritizing is crucial. Total discretion and confidentiality regarding any subject discussed within the departments.

Responsible for performing audits of clinics to determine compliance with healthcare compliance standards. Ensure the clinic is in great standards and is compliant with all health plans' requirements. J ob
Description:
Ensure all clinic binders are updated with current information, valid licenses, and well-organized Keep Management, providers, and other departments informed about any new requirements of any health plan. Assist and work on special projects assigned by the Administration. Ensure policies and procedures binders are updated in all clinics. Schedule audits and walk-throughs for all clinics. Monitor projects as directed by the Administration and see the programs through completion. Assist with generating emails, logs, filing, distributing updates, and reports for Administration. Keep all Administration documentation organized in the Administration drive. Follow up on assigned tasks with clinic managers to ensure deadlines are met. Responsible for coordinating and attending all Health Plans Audits (IEHP, Molina, Family Pact, etc). After the outcome of the audit work, coordinate compliance or a corrective plan if needed, and follow up with Managers. Ensure clinics have updated information and are posting information in accordance with the new guidelines by all agencies we serve and we work with. Ensure all clinics are updating training logs as needed. Responsible for conducting Internal Site Audits monthly for all clinics and implementing the corrections plan if needed, and follow up with Managers. Responsible for conducting internal chart audits and working closely with Providers and Medical staff to improve Services and Productivity. Responsible for auditing family pact and CPSP charts. Provide staff with the required State and Federal regulation training. Ensure staff have OSHA, HIPAA, Sexual Harassment, and Safety training annually Keep Staff informed on updates and new State or Health Plan regulations. Ensure annual Mock Drills, code blues, emergency, fire, etc., are done Ensure evacuation policies are updated accordingly and reviewed Review all clinics' set up and suggest changes and follow up. Make sure the medical equipment is calibrated and working properly. Attend any special meetings with management. Maintain communication channels with other departments and Corporate Management. Assist and work on special projects assigned by the administration. Attendance at special training required for job improvement.
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per year
