Job Description
Clinic Manager A Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the practice to ensure an efficient and productive work environment. Working closely with department leads, the Clinic Manager oversees all aspects of the office while supporting overall practice growth and patient satisfaction. This role carries significant responsibility and requires the following core qualifications: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field Strong understanding of financial management Knowledge of healthcare operations and procedures 2-5 years of successful management experience in a healthcare setting Previous optometry experience preferred The Clinic Manager oversees the primary functional areas of Operations, Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing.
OPERATIONS
Oversee daily office operations to maintain an efficient and organized practice Evaluate and improve systems and workflows across departments as needed Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports Manage purchasing and inventory of office and medical supplies Conduct vendor and pricing comparisons to support cost efficiency Ensure office cleanliness and facility maintenance standards are maintained Foster effective communication between staff and leadershipHUMAN RESOURCES
Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary processes when necessary Develop staff schedules and manage office coverage needs Assign responsibilities and maintain updated job descriptions Monitor employee performance and maintain accountability standards Process bi-weekly payroll Oversee employee benefits, PTO, bonuses, and related HR functions Prepare and distribute HR-related reports Conduct employee evaluations and compensation reviews Organize and lead staff meetings Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance Conduct corrective discussions when appropriate FINANCE Ensure adherence to financial policies and standard operating procedures Review accounts receivable and accounts payable on a monthly basis Prepare financial reports to evaluate practice performance Oversee daily bank deposits Ensure timely payment of invoices and operating expenses Review and approve employee expense requestsMARKETING
Ensure staff completion of marketing-related responsibilities Monitor marketing initiatives and evaluate return on investment (ROI) Coordinate periodic meetings and relationship-building efforts with referral partnersJob Type:
