Description:

The program coordinator under the general direction of the Business Manager provides research support to the Director and Chief of Clinical Cancer Generics within the department of Population Sciences, an d an Assistant Clinical Professor and four cancer genetics clinicians who provide genetic cancer risk assessment for patients at City of Hope and several satellite clinics. The coordinator will assist in the appropriate triaging of patients, obtain relevant patient information and medical records prior to an appointment, ensure that necessary follow-up appointments are scheduled and completed as well as assist with ongoing communication with patients and referring healthcare providers. The coordinator will also play a critical role in managing point-of-care services to align with the PACE (Perfecting the Ambulatory Care Experience) initiative.
