City of Hope is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead operations and clinical teams. About Role:
The Nurse Manager oversees daily operations and programs management for a designated group of clinics or units, collaborating closely with the Director of Nursing. Responsible for achieving financial, quality, and strategic goals, the Nurse Manager leads with a positive, people-focused approach, fostering a supportive and engaging work environment. Acting as a change agent, they promote open communication, professional development, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards while ensuring efficient use of resources and the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality, patient centered care. Oversee daily operation and ensure efficient staffing and resource allocation. Manage budgets and monitor financial performance. Guide quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational and patient care goals. Act as a charge agent, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
Your qualifications should include:
Education:
BSN or MSN Experience:
3 years experience in an area of expertise relevant to the department with demonstrated progressive leadership growth
Licensure:
Current California RN license BLS certification with American Heart Association National certification (must be acquired within 12 months of hire or transfer)
Preferred:
