This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients while managing the administrative, insurance, and treatment coordination aspects of patient care. As the first point of contact for our patients and families, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting the clinical team and helping patients navigate treatment and financial arrangements. Responsibilities Welcome patients and families and provide outstanding customer service Answer incoming calls, text messages, and patient inquiries Schedule and coordinate appointments Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims as needed Discuss treatment plans, financial arrangements, and payment options with patients and parents Collect payments and maintain accurate patient accounts Coordinate communication between patients, parents, and clinical team members Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation Support daily front office operations and administrative tasks Contribute to a positive, team-oriented office culture Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish required Dental insurance verification, claims processing, and financial coordination experience strongly preferred Previous dental, orthodontic, or healthcare office experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable discussing treatment fees, payment options, and financial arrangements with patients Strong attention to detail and follow-through Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn Schedule Approximately 28-32 hours per week Generally 4 days per week Attendance on all scheduled clinical days is required. Clinical days are generally Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a rotating Thursday/Friday schedule, plus one half Saturday per month. As proficiency and independence develop, the position will also include a dedicated administrative day focused on insurance processing, patient account management, treatment coordination, and other administrative responsibilities. Schedule may vary slightly based on practice needs.
