Patient Service Coordinator Starlight Therapy Center Highland, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $17 - $19 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Spanish Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets English High school diploma or GED Workers' compensation Full Job Description Starlight Therapy Center is currently seeking an Independent Contractor to fulfill the role of Patient Services Coordinator . This flexible, floating contractor position involves supporting both front desk and insurance-related tasks on an as-needed basis. The ideal contractor will be adaptable, self-motivated, and bring well-rounded experience in medical administration with a strong focus on customer service. Scope of Work (Responsibilities): Coordinate with clinic staff to help resolve patient authorization matters Communicate with insurance companies to assist with referral and billing-related follow-up Support scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and treatment preparation Adhere to clinic-provided processes and systems while maintaining independent oversight of workload Prepare and maintain accurate patient documentation when needed Complete agreed-upon assignments by designated deadlines Maintain professional communication with patients and clinic representatives Deliver work product that supports the clinic's goals, including collection efforts Ensure all assigned tasks are completed independently and responsibly
Contractor Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent (required) Experience using EMR/EHR systems such as Office Ally (preferred) Familiarity with Workers' Compensation billing and authorization processes (preferred) Ability to self-manage and perform tasks_ without direct supervision _ Proficient in verbal and written communication Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge Detail-oriented with strong organizational and critical thinking skills Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
