We serve patients from Pediatrics to Geriatrics , with a strong mission focused on prevention, early detection, and comprehensive patient assessments at every visit. Other Essential Functions:
Performs such activities as: Clinical / Back Office Understanding of all medication, physical therapy, imaging, and other provider orders Document all patient interactions and care accurately in the medical record Front Desk / Patient Care Coordination Deliver a warm, welcoming concierge-style patient experience Handle high-volume incoming phone calls professionally Schedule and follow up on new and established patient appointments Check patients in and out efficiently Prepare and assist patients with registration forms Enter demographics and insurance information accurately Collect co-pays and outstanding balances Perform vitals, minor procedures, injections, and blood draws Ensure accuracy of all medication, physical therapy, imaging, and other provider orders Document all patient interactions and care accurately in the medical record Maintain exam rooms: clean, sanitized, and fully stocked daily Team Support & Additional Duties Work directly with the lead and supervisor on training and workflow design Provide backup coverage for other front desk staff as needed Assist physicians and staff as needed Participate in on-the-job training for new employees when directed Perform other duties as assigned by management or providers Qualifications, Skills & Abilities Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (back office required) Medical receptionist or front desk experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and
CPT/ICD-10
coding Knowledge of medical insurance processes Strong computer skills; experience with EMR/EHR systems Accurate typing and attention to detail Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality, and legal compliance Calm, professional demeanor under pressure Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time, intermittently throughout an 8-hour shift.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate/GED 2 years' Medical Receptionist experience Customer Service experience with preferred training 2 years' EHR experience
