Clinic Supervisor Assistant Location:
Lawndale, CA 90260 This position requires travel to multiple clinic locations throughout Los Angeles County. (Inglewood, Lawndale, Hawaiian Gardens, Van Nuys, Pico Rivera, Long Beach)
Overview:
♦ The primary care supervisor's assistant will be responsible for assisting with compliance, operations, and management of several medical clinics. The duties include supervision of staff, quality measured outcomes, administrative operations, building management, human resources, inventory, and other duties under the direction of the primary care medical supervisor.
Qualifications :

Required:
Valid MA Certification o Computer literacy and knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications :
o Demonstrates leadership skills in customer service, coaching, team building, communication, stress management, performance development, employee evaluation, employee discipline, time management, problem solving, negotiation, and any other skills required to execute the position of the primary care medical supervisor's assistant.
Job Knowledge :
o Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory agencies such as the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Biohazard Waste Administration (CDPH). o Demonstrates knowledge of medical billing and medical payers such as: Medicare, Medicaid, Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), Health Managed Organization (HMO), and Point of Service (POS).
Duties and Responsibilities :
o Responsible for assisting with employee performance evaluations and providing employee retraining if needed. o Responsible to notify the proper staff for the issuance and deactivation of system access and the employee badge. o Responsible for the monitoring of employee compliance with internal company policies, federal regulations, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. o Reviews and approves employee time cards and sends to the primary care supervisor for review as well as providing a brief description of unscheduled overtime hours or approved hours. o Responsible for reviewing current patient records for accuracy and completing employee records. o Responsible for ensuring equipment maintenance and repairs as needed o Responsible for ensuring the clinic is always fully stocked as necessary. o Responsible for the timely submission of requested medical records. o Responsible for ensuring patient referrals are submitted timely. o Responsible for ensuring all patient co-pay and share of cost are collected during registration. o Performs monthly clinic audits as requested by the primary care supervisor.

o $27-$28
