College Medical has an opening for a Hospital Dietary Kitchen Supervisor. The Dietary Kitchen Supervisor Plans, organizes, the Food & Nutrition Services department in accordance with applicable state, federal, and local guidelines, company policies and procedures. Effective communication with the staff and the director is a must. The Dietary Kitchen Supervisor will be direct support for the Kitchen Manager. Job Qualifications and Duties A minimum of 1 year supervisory/managerial experience preferred. Must hold a current ServSafe-Manager Certification. Possess the required health, knowledge, and skills to assist in preparation and service of assigned patient and staff food items. Speak, read, and write in English. Nutrition related knowledge including various therapeutic diets and associated modifications including, but not limited to CCHO, Renal, Mechanical Soft, Vegan, Cardiac preferred. Order, monitor, and maintain adequate food supplies to meet hospital demands. Maintains/oversees emergency food supplies. Organization of records including, but not limited to, kitchen and unit logs, invoices, monitors budgets, catering requests, and performance improvement measures. Creates cafeteria menus. Aware of and implements Title 22 regulations and works in accordance to TJC standards. Able to cover staff duties as necessary to meet department demands Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for College Medical Center roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that College Medical Center in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
