Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients and the dental practice, ensuring seamless communication, accurate treatment planning, and efficient administrative support. Your energetic approach will help patients feel confident and informed about their dental care options while maintaining smooth office operations. Duties Review and explain treatment plans to patients, ensuring understanding of procedures, costs, and insurance coverage Verify insurance benefits, including insurance verification and pre-authorizations for procedures Coordinate scheduling of appointments, follow-ups, and treatment phases using Dentrix Assist billing processes to ensure accurate reimbursement Review medical records and documentation for completeness and compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with dental providers to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs Maintain organized patient files, update medical histories, and ensure all documentation aligns with health information management standards Provide excellent patient service by answering questions professionally via multi-line phone systems and assisting with intake procedures Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental billing codes, and insurance processes Proficient in Dentrix for documentation review and scheduling Strong Presentation Skills Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing (10 key typing) for efficient data entry Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette and bilingual abilities preferred to assist diverse patient populations Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for health information management and medical records confidentiality Clinic experience or dental office experience is highly desirable; familiarity with dental terminology is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and multi-line phone management Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and administrative support Join us in delivering outstanding dental care by coordinating treatment plans that enhance patient experiences!
