Job Description

Do you enjoy working with children, especially those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other closely related disorders? Want to be part of a team? Beyond Behavior California, LLC. is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Supervisor to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with ASD and other disorders or children who are at risk of DX. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly rewarding and growing field. The company does provide field work hours to those working towards their BCBA.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelors Degree + 2 years in the field
  • OR•Masters Degree Minimum of TWO or more years of related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities (preferred), but willing to train the right person.
Demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills (Preferred) Bilingual a plus

Team Role:
Provide weekly supervision of Behavior Technician (RBT/BCAT/ABAT) and weekly parent training in home and community settings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement high quality ABA program Take appropriate data as required, in a prompt and efficient manner Communicate student progress to family, other BT's, and Supervisors Adhere to and respect household rules and expectations of professional behavior Participate in initial and ongoing trainings or workshops Pursue professional development ongoing through time with BBC Demonstrate ethical and mature behavior, including proper dress code, punctually, Minimizing use of a cell phone during working hours, communicating promptly with the family (within 24 hours for non-pressing matters, cancellations or of high importance within 15 minutes (or on break for those who are part-time M-F 8A
  • 7P) or Supervisor/Scheduling/Human Resources/Executive Director (returning emails or phone calls within 1 hour), and treating all members of the household with respect Submitting timesheets & mileage Daily to billing by 8p Submit session notes daily Communicating parental concerns and BT concerns to BCBA within hours Get parent signatures on every visit.
Contact families and supervisors if you must cancel a session Track and record 1 IOA once per month and record it on the BT Real Time PDP spreadsheet and on the in-field Clinical Skills Training data sheet.
Documentation:
Provide proof of valid driver license and current auto insurance Due to the sensitivity and confidentiality of the position candidates will be open to background clearance through Department of Justice if offered employment with BBC Provide second form of identification (Birth Cert. or Social Security card) Provide a copy of High School Diploma or Equivalent Provide an official copy of College transcripts Proof of Certification (if any apply)
  • RBT, BCAT or ABAT If Certification is given we will need, Proof of 40 hours Competency-Based Training designed by BCBA (Assessment before taking

) Complete CPR training
