Your Role As Dialysis Administrator (Hospital), you will be integral to our commitment to providing high-quality acute dialysis care for patients. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dialysis Administrator (hospital) to lead and oversee the daily operations of our dialysis services within a hospital setting. This vital role involves managing clinical workflows, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining the financial health of the department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in acute care settings, dialysis services, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality patient care, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead dialysis department operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and other healthcare standards while upholding high-quality patient care.
- Manage the department budget, financial performance, and billing processes using systems such as Epic.
- Supervise nurses and administrative staff, promoting a collaborative and accountable team culture.
- Partner with providers to improve treatment plans and ensure adherence to acute care protocols.
- Ensure accurate medical documentation in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
- Implement utilization, managed care, and medical management policies to improve efficiency.
- Oversee hiring, training, performance reviews, and compliance with healthcare employment laws. Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience managing medical office operations in acute care or hospital settings, preferably in dialysis or nephrology.
- Strong expertise in healthcare budgeting, financial management, and operational oversight.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a clinical environment.
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, records management, and regulations including HIPAA and JCAHO.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic or eClinicalWorks is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing clinic operations in fast-paced settings, such as critical care or hospitals, is a plus.
- Knowledge of managed care and utilization management to streamline patient care delivery. Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN)
Certification:
Current CPR/BLS certification.Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare management or business operations experience.
- Prior experience in Acute Dialysis or Hospital Services is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in staff supervision and budget management.
