Job Description
Lead Multiple Treatment Facilities and Drive Operational Excellence Odyssey Behavioral Health Centers is seeking an experienced and highly organized Regional Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple behavioral health facilities. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for approximately three locations , with the opportunity to oversee up to five facilities or more as the organization continues to grow. This leadership position is ideal for someone with experience in substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, healthcare operations, or residential facility management who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building systems, developing teams, and ensuring exceptional client care. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of 3-5 behavioral health facilities Ensure compliance with all applicable state, county, accreditation, and company requirements Supervise and support House Managers, Behavioral Health Technicians, LVNs, Program Directors, and facility staff Monitor staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all locations Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development Conduct routine facility inspections and quality assurance reviews Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices Coordinate with Admissions, Clinical, Medical, Utilization Review, and Billing departments Manage facility budgets, purchasing, vendor relationships, and operational expenses Respond to emergencies and operational issues as needed Ensure facilities maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment Prepare operational reports and communicate performance metrics to executive leadership Assist with licensing, accreditation, and expansion efforts for new facilities QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of management or operations experience Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, healthcare, residential care, hospitality, or related industries Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple locations simultaneously Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic record systems Ability to travel between locations regularly Preferred Experience with Residential Detox, Residential Treatment, PHP, or Mental Health programs Knowledge of DHCS, Joint Commission, and healthcare compliance standards Experience managing multi-site healthcare or residential operations Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field Experience with KIPU or other behavioral health EMR systems Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel Paid training and professional development Supportive leadership team and advancement opportunities Ideal Candidate We are looking for a leader who can effectively manage people, systems, and operations while maintaining a high standard of client care.
