Modesto, CA - Sutter Health Memorial Medical Center, 1700 Coffee Rd, Modesto, CA 95355
Schedule:
Onsite | 5x8-hour days, 07:30-16:00 | 13 weeks | LOA coverage, non-clinical administrative role
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience 1+ year of recent relevant staffing, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare operations experience Experience with staff scheduling, timekeeping, and daily staffing coordination Experience with Kronos, Microsoft Teams, Clairvia, Excel, and related information systems Ability to coordinate staffing resources for inpatient hospital unit support Ability to communicate with staff, house supervisors, and healthcare teams to resolve coverage needs Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to maintain PHI confidentiality and follow local, state, federal, departmental, and facility policies
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in a central staffing office or nursing support services environment Experience with Epic or electronic health record systems Experience preparing staffing reports, maintaining databases, and auditing data Ability to manage competing priorities in an environment with interruptions Experience supporting payroll or timekeeping workflows Summary /
Duties:
Staffing Coordinator II will provide non-clinical administrative support in the central staffing office, focused on daily staffing, timekeeping, and scheduling for inpatient unit support. This role coordinates staffing resources, responds to patient care staffing needs, collaborates with house supervisors, and assigns staff to appropriate units based on skill level, census, availability, and unit guidelines. Duties include maintaining schedules, supporting Kronos timekeeping, using Clairvia, Teams, Excel, and related systems, entering and auditing data, preparing routine reports, and screening communications. The role also supports patient appointment scheduling as needed, maintains confidentiality of PHI, follows regulatory and facility policies, and helps ensure staffing tasks are completed within department time frames.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
