Hospitality/Food Service Lead

Job Description:

Del Dotto Vineyards is an ultra-premium, family-owned winery located in Napa and St. Helena. We are known for delivering unforgettable wine and food pairing experiences to guests from around the world. We are currently seeking highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our tasting room team. This position plays a key role in leading food service operations while contributing to a fun, team-oriented, and guest-focused environment.

Position Overview:

The Hospitality / Food Service Lead is responsible for overseeing food service during our signature Delicacies Wine & Food Pairings and VIP member events, while supporting daily tasting room operations. This role works closely with the Service Manager and is cross trained in guest service and sales functions.

Responsibilities:

Service experience in a winery or restaurant environment preferred POS and computer literate. General knowledge of winemaking preferred Strong communication skills Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, some holidays and events in the evening Able to stand for long periods of time Perform routine housekeeping, organization, and stocking tasks Willingness to learn about our wines and philosophy

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings Strong communication and interpersonal skills High energy, team-oriented, and able to multitask Experience in hospitality, food service, winery, or restaurant environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills Interest in wine or willingness to learn We have a wonderful staff and would like to add to you the great experience we have been giving customers from all over the world for the past 30 years.
