  • Principal Responsibilities
CLINICAL
Ensures the timely preparation and delivery of nutritious and attractive meals, and supplements to all residents according to physician's orders and in compliance with Federal, State and Company requirements. Maintains a safe and sanitary working environment in compliance with Federal and State of California Guidelines. Ensures that meals are served according to resident requests, preferences, and needs. Implements and revises menus with Registered Dietician review and guidance to meet resident needs. Interacts effectively with Interdisciplinary team members. ADMINISTRATIVE
Maintain all records and documentation according to Federal, State and Company requirements. Maintains inventory of food and supplies to meet resident needs, and according to policy and planned menus. Participates in assigned meetings and in-services. Operates department with sensitivity to forecast needs. Ensures exchange of essential information with all departments as necessary to ensure quality resident care. Work with Registered Dietician to meet health goals of the residents. Dietary Services Supervisor/Certified Dietary Manager

    Meets department work goals through assignment of staff. Monitors staff performance and addresses any needs. Evaluates quality of services accomplished by staff. Dietary Services Supervisor/Certified Dietary Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong supervisory skills. Graduate of California State approved DSS course, CDM certification with Title 22 coursework, or bachelor's degree in related clinical nutrition field.
