401(k) Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Here is a professional and attractive job advertisement for your clinic: Medical Administrative Coordinator Workers' Compensation & Occupational Health Clinic We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our growing Workers' Compensation and Occupational Health clinic team. This position plays a critical role in patient coordination, communication, authorization management, scheduling, and overall clinic workflow. Strong communication, documentation, and follow-up skills are essential for success in this role. Position Responsibilities Schedule all patient appointments efficiently and accurately Communicate professionally with patients, employers, insurance adjusters, case managers, and medical providers Assist and communicate with patients in both English and Spanish Submit Requests for Authorization (RFA) to insurance companies and employers Follow up consistently on pending authorizations to ensure timely patient care Schedule patients according to authorization approvals and treatment plans Track and monitor patient status, including: Follow-up appointments No-shows Missed appointments Discharges Transfer of care Referral status Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Coordinate communication between providers, employers, and insurance carriers Ensure all records, authorizations, and patient communications are properly documented Support clinic workflow and assist with front-office administrative duties as needed Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Prior experience in workers' compensation, occupational health, medical scheduling, or medical administration preferred Familiarity with EMR systems preferred Ability to professionally follow up with insurance companies and employers regarding authorizations and patient care coordination Important Skills for Success The ideal candidate understands that communication, organization, follow-up, and documentation are the keys to success in occupational medicine and workers' compensation care coordination.
