In this role, you will work closely with our physician to ensure smooth daily clinic operations and an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Please note this position is part time and will require the candidate to work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Our clinic is open Monday- Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm. Responsibilities Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments Schedule appointments and manage patient flow throughout the day Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) Handle prescription refill requests per provider instructions Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and properly sanitized Answer patient calls and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner Communicate efficiently doctor's orders to skilled nursing facilities through fax or phone call Assist physician with office tasks and personal tasks Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Work Location:
In person Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with procedures to ensure accurate and efficient registration Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and height to support clinical assessments Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures Support physicians with basic medical tasks including EKG tests, vital signs, injections, and wound dressing under supervision Manage patient charts by documenting patient encounters, updating records, and coding diagnoses using ICD codes Assist physician with personal tasks and tasks pertaining to the office, such as ordering supplies, writing checks, paying utilities, sorting mail, scheduling physician's personal appointments Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits while maintaining professionalism and empathy Experience Prior experience working in healthcare setting is highly desirable Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medications enhances clinical effectiveness Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care through energetic support and professional excellence.
