Join a California hospital as their next Interim Director, OR (Days)! ? The Position An Interim Director of OR is needed to provide leadership stability and strong clinical oversight for perioperative and cardiovascular procedural services.
The Interim Director will oversee daily operations of the Surgical Services department, including the OR, PACU, and moderate sedation procedures. Coordinate surgical scheduling, anesthesia coverage, and procedural readiness to ensure safe, efficient patient care. Oversee perioperative nursing operations, maintaining compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives. The Interim Director will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support exceptional patient outcomes across the surgical continuum. Ensure surgical suites, PACU, equipment, and supplies are fully prepared while promoting patient safety, quality care, and operational excellence.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Bachelor's degree is required. Active CA RN license is required. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. A minimum of two years or recent OR RN management experience is required.
Compensation Details Compensation Range:
$170,000 to $175,000 annually.
The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
