Job Description

Muir Wood is a nationally recognized residential and outpatient treatment program serving teens ages 12-17 with mental health and substance use disorders. With 17 facilities across Northern, Central, and Southern California, we provide Joint Commission-accredited, trauma-informed care in safe, structured, and compassionate environments. In our safe, comfortable, and structured environments, our compassionate clinicians help teens explore and process sensitive issues while learning to manage their lives in productive ways. We provide high-quality Joint Commission-accredited residential treatment, creating an environment where teens and their families feel cared-for, valued, and engaged. Our academic program is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We are in-network with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente, MHN, Magellan, Halcyon, and Optum, making our exceptional brand of teen treatment accessible to as many families as possible. Our guiding philosophy emphasizes kindness and compassion over confrontation and control. The Clinical Operations Manager (COM) is a frontline leader responsible for both program leadership and site operations. Reporting to the Clinical Director, the COM oversees Care Coordinators, Shift Supervisors, and Operations staff to ensure safe, structured, and healing - centered environments. With support from central Operations, the COM manages scheduling, facilities, and vendors to keep programs admit-ready, compliant, and efficient. The COM plays a critical role in shaping the client and staff experience by being present in the milieu, coaching and developing staff, maintaining compliance, and ensuring operational excellence.
