Job Description
Family Physical Therapy has been serving the Roseville community since 2007. We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our clinic and the heartbeat of our patient experience. This is a part-time role working 2 to 3 days a week, perfect for someone who loves people and wants to make a real difference in how our patients feel from the moment they walk in the door. Who thrives in this role The right person for this role is genuinely warm, smiles easily, and lights up when they get to help someone. You are the kind of person friends call when they need to vent because you actually listen. You know how to defuse a tough conversation without losing your cool, and you have a knack for finding common ground with people who walk in frustrated. Equally important, you are relentless when it comes to keeping the schedule full. You do not give up on a no-show or cancellation until you have exhausted every option to backfill it. That mix of kindness and tenacity is rare, and it is exactly what we are looking for. What you will be doing You will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping them schedule appointments, answering their questions with patience and care, and making sure they feel welcomed every single time. You will be responsible for filling the schedule, working through no-shows and cancellations with urgency, and making sure our therapists have a full and productive day ahead of them. You will also run insurance benefits for new patients so they know exactly what to expect, send out text reminders and updates to keep our patients informed, and generally make sure that the experience of being a Family PT patient is the best part of their week. Why patients love coming here Our patients keep coming back because they feel seen and cared for from the front desk all the way through their treatment. The person in this role plays a huge part in that. You set the tone for the entire visit, and a smile, a warm hello, and a sense that someone cares can change how a patient feels about their entire day. We have built our reputation on that kind of personal care and we are looking for someone who naturally brings that energy. What we are looking for You do not need years of medical office experience but you do need to be a people person at your core. Strong communication skills, comfort using a computer and a phone, and a willingness to learn the insurance and scheduling side of things are essential. Previous customer service or front desk experience in any field is a plus. Most of all, we are looking for kindness, dependability, and that natural ability to make people feel at ease. Schedule and details This is a part-time role, 2 to 3 days per week, with flexibility on which days work best for you and our schedule. If you love people, take pride in being relentlessly helpful, and want to work somewhere where you are appreciated, we would love to hear from you.
