The successful candidate will be willing and able to: Program & Department Support (25%) Provide administrative and operational support to the Behavioral Health (BH) Department and Leadership. Coordinate departmental workflows, trainings, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain organized systems for documentation, reporting, and communication. Lead Responsibilities (15%) Supervise and support referral staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery. Address escalated concerns from patients, staff, and clinic teams professionally and effectively. Serve as a resource for BH workflows, referral processes, and program operations. Perform additional duties as assigned by BH Leadership. Referral & Authorization Coordination (25%) Coordinate referrals and insurance authorizations for Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, and specialty services. Review, process, and track referrals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely scheduling. Assist providers, patients, and internal teams with referral and authorization inquiries. Documentation (10%) Maintain accurate referral, authorization, and scheduling documentation within the EHR. Prepare and submit referral packets to insurance plans and receiving specialists. Ensure documentation remains organized, compliant, and aligned with departmental standards. Referral Tracking & Follow-Up (15%) Monitor referral status, timelines, and completion to support continuity of care and patient safety. Conduct follow-up communication with patients, insurance plans, specialists, and care teams. Provide timely updates to providers and BH clinicians regarding referral outcomes. Customer Service & Patient Support (10%) Deliver professional, patient-centered service in all interactions. Respond to patient concerns, phone calls, and inquiries with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with clinical teams and external partners to support coordinated care and service excellence. Eligibility:
Benefits are available to employees working 30+ hours per week , effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.Compensation Disclosure:
$28.00- $34.

The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. The employee may be required to run agency related errands and attend off-site meetings; the employee must be able to operate, maneuver and/or control a motor vehicle. In performing the driving responsibilities, the driver may sit for long periods. This requires intense concentration, particularly in poor driving conditions.
