This position will process new patient referrals to the office, by reviewing medical records to see if the patient is a candidate to be accepted to the office. Other duties include, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, calling patients and scheduling for different office locations. Pain affects more Americans than diabetes, heart disease and cancer combined, which helps explain why pain is a leading cause of lost productivity and a reduced quality of life worldwide. Our mission at Advanced Pain Diagnostic & Solutions is to definitively diagnose the source of chronic pain and to provide an evolving course of treatment that maximizes pain relief through the active participation of patients in his/her own therapy with the lowest possible dose of opioid pain relievers. We offer an advanced Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform and proficient operational teams to help our clinicians focus their considerable skills and energy on patient care. Required Skills & Education:
1-year experience working in a medical practice Basic computer skills/35 wpm keyboard speed High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills & Education:
2-Year Degree as Medical Assistant EMR/EHR software experience, especially with NextGen Bilingual speaking (English/Spanish) Experience with verifying insurance eligibility Please submit your CV resume in a Microsoft Word or .pdf format.
