Join our Talent Network Description The Site of Care, Area Lead role and responsibilities are to assess, plan and execute client programs designed to support administration options for the product . The Site of Care, Area Lead will be responsible for engaging with sites of care (SOCs) Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada & Colorado . A ccount responsibilities can include, but are not limited to, Local and National Infusion Providers and community oncology clinics.
Responsibilities:
Systematically gain deep account intelligence for home infusion and clinic targets Characterize outpatient options and landscape in pre-specified geographies Provide SOCs with overview of the product and general clinical procedures involved with administering it, coordinating with Medical Affairs and other internal stakeholders as necessary Evaluate SOC interest and ability to administer the product Identify areas where there are gaps and develop plans to evaluate SOC interest and ability in those areas Identify clinical, operational and economic barriers and develop account plans to guide next best actions Provide SOCs with access-related education including product specific coding and billing Serve as the lead SOC point of contact with internal sales, patient support services and reimbursement/access functions Understand health care issues/strategies, customer issues/trends and best practices to establish credibility beyond product and therapeutic areas
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree required, Business, Clinical or Science discipline preferred Advanced clinical or scientific degree (e.g., PharmD, MPH) or prior clinical experience strongly preferred Minimum of 4 years pharma/medical industry or home infusion / clinic experience required Minimum of 2 years' experience with account management in the oncology, hematology or rare disease space, including experience with infused therapies Minimum of 2 years' experience with market access/site of care customer segments and reimbursement (commercial and government payers, billing/coding) with infused products required. Hematology or oncology reimbursement experience preferred. Preferred direct experience with identifying and evaluating available SOCs in various infusion service areas such as: Home infusion service providers National and/or regional infusion service providers (Infusion Management Companies) Hospital outpatient and infusion centers Individual buy and bill physician office practices Recent launch experience with infused products preferred Requires approximately >50% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000-$160,000 The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
