Responsibilities:
Process medical records email, fax line and phone calls. Process Additional Documentation Request (ADR) received from CMS and Private Insurances. Analyze and troubleshoot all issues with internal EMR systems pertaining to clinical processing of visits, documents, data, billing and other issues as needed. Create best-practice processes for EMR systems. Build and maintain strong relationships with office and field staff. Conduct business in a manner that displays a high level of confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting. Minimum of one (1) year experience using HCHB to perform operations relating to the Home Health and Hospice Business model. Understanding HIPAAs compliance rules and regulations. Understanding of CMS guidelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and communicate with all levels of management. Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
